Mobile - Present Game

The Big Idea: Describe your learning topic for the game. What is the most important thing you want your players to learn?

I want players to learn about one of the most successful civilizations in the world that had the most influence on western colonization.

Research: What kind of research did you do? What did you learn about your topic?

I did research over the Roman Empire during its glory years and about Julius Caesar. I learned many things from the topic like Ancient Rome grew from a small town on central Italy's Tiber River. By A.D. 117 the Roman Empire included the all of Italy, all the lands around the Mediterranean and much of Europe, including England, Wales and parts of Scotland.

Making Decisions: How did your ideas change as you worked on your game?

Um i don't think my ideas changed during the time i worked on the game iv'e had it all planned out and i wanted to keep it easy for myself and didn't make any changes.

Mastering Programming: What Game Ingredients and Help Center resources have been most useful to you so far, and why?

Well the game ingredients are very helpful because they teach you step by step on how to properly insert your code into the game.

Overcoming Challenges: Which part of making the game was most difficult for you? How did you overcome this difficulty? What features are you most proud of in your game?

The most difficult part was the coding for sure. I overcame this difficulty by getting help from my friends and the teacher who helped me fix my coding. The features im most proud of are the coding i did because it was the part i put most effort into.

  2. Well, I just want to point out the fact that you learned more of your topic. That's because it happened to me too. It's just amazing how you can learn more about your topic and then have better ideas for your game. I agree with most of what you wrote, but yeah, the coding is always the most difficult part. I really like your topic-Roman Empire, it has a lot of events and there are many ideas you can develop. Good job, Ernesto! I'm pretty sure your game is good!
